National Research Coordinator, University of Sydney

As national research coordinator I am responsible for the research that Surf Life Saving Australia conducts into drowning prevention, coastal safety & threats, public perceptions and coastal risk management.

My research interests include the interaction between humans and their natural environment and ecology.

In previous research as an arid ecologist I investigated predator-prey interactions, population dynamics, trophic cascades and fire ecology.
