Associate Professor of Environmental Sciences, University of Nottingham

I specialize in international water management policies, particularly in sustainable flood management and planning practices, flood risk assessment practices in the UK, Europe and East Asia and their applications in both developed and developing countries.

I started my academic life at University of Leeds in 2006, I was appointed as a research teaching associate at School of Geography in Leeds. I have been accredited as a teaching associate in the UK Higher Education Academy (UKHEA) since 2008.

I have engaged with the Water@Leeds research organisation and currently chair of the Delta group and currently I am the visiting senior research fellow at Water@Leeds, University of Leeds.
