Fanny Cazettes

After being trained as a biomedical engineer in Paris, France, Fanny Cazettes obtained a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, USA, where she studied how the brain deals with ambiguous sensory information. As a postdoctoral fellow at Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown in Lisbon, Portugal, she continues investigating behavioral adaptations in the face of uncertainty by focusing on how decisions and actions are formed in the brain.

Le Dr Fanny Cazettes étudie la manière dont le cerveau traite l’incertitude au moment de prendre une décision. Son travail vise à mettre en évidence les mécanismes neuronaux impliqués. L’objectif de ses recherches est de mieux comprendre l’adaptation comportementale dans des situations d’incertitude et de découvrir de nouvelles stratégies pour la prévention des comportements à risques.
