Fanny Couture

I am a marine biologist and a PhD Candidate at the Institute for the Oceans and Fisheries of the University of British Columbia. I am working in collaboration with the Marine Mammal Research Program at Ocean Wise, and part of the Ocean Leaders program at UBC. My work aims at connecting prey and specialized predator dynamics, and focuses on the case of the Southern Resident killer whale population and different Pacific salmon species along the northwestern American coast.
