Fiona B. Adamson

Fiona B/ Adamson is a Reader (Associate Professor) in International Relations in the Department of Politics and International Studies at SOAS, University of London. Her research interests are in the areas of migration, diaspora politics, international relations and peace and security.

Fiona is a co-investigator in the European Union Horizon 2020 research project Migration Governance and Asylum Crises (MAGYC) and is a co-convenor the London Migration Research Group (LMRG). Dr Adamson holds a BA from Stanford University and an MA, MPhil and PhD from Columbia University. She has held research fellowships at Harvard and Stanford Universities, as well as at Humboldt University, Berlin and University of Basel, Switzerland.
