I am a Professor in the field of microbiology and scientific specialism in Parasitology and Free-living amoebae. I have worked in Higher Education for 15 years, teaching and undertaking research projects from basic science to applied research and working with industry to develop mitigation strategies for infection control and understanding how changes in the environment can have an impact on infectious disease.
