Fiona is a PhD candidate at UCL with translational biomaterial and tissue engineering for reconstructive surgery as her research focus.
She is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon that was trained in Indonesia and Japan. Her experience in biomedical research in one of the UK’s world-class universities can bring a unique perspective to solve bedside problems with a combination of bench side solutions and clinical approach.
She is also involved in humanitarian projects including conflict and disaster relief as well as cleft lip and palate surgery charity.
