Research Fellow at the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation, King's College London

Florence's research focus is on the intersection of online subcultures and misogyny. Specifically, her work applies theories of social movements and identity formation to the incel phenomenon, considering the ways in which the movement's online discourse and visual culture shape its worldview.

She has published work for the European Parliament, CTC Sentinel, Chatham House, and the Centre for the Analysis of the Radical Right. She has also presented her work to the United Nations, Europol, and the Global Counter Terrorism Forum. Before joining ICSR she worked as a Research Fellow for the Royal United Services Institute, where her work focused on terrorist financing.
