I have an interdisciplinary background in Literary, Translation and Gender Studies.
In 2019, I completed my PhD in French literature and translation in a joint program between The University of Melbourne and Université Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris 3. This experience and my interest in translation, as a meeting place of languages, texts, people, continues to influence much of my research.
Central to my academic work is a study of identity, specifically as it relates to gender, place and language. I am interested in writing in French and English that crosses borders, particularly by women writers, but also in the movement of people and the construction of cultural identities.
