Francisco Pino

I am a postdoctoral researcher in Economics at ECARES, Université Libre de Bruxelles. My fields of interest are Political Economy, Development Economics and Economic History. I also have interest and experience in Public Economics and Labor Economics. My current research is focused on understanding the impact of political institutions on economic as well as political outcomes, particularly in the context of under-represented groups. I consider institutions in a broad sense, ranging from electoral systems to land and social security reforms.
