Francois Richer is a professor of neuropsychology and cognitive neuroscience at UQAM in Montreal. He has worked on cognitive functions including attention and cognitive control in adult and children populations. He has also explored emotion-cognition interactions in behavioral disorders including ADHD and oppositional behavior. In addition, he has explored links between cognition, emotions and consciousness in synesthesia. He has a strong interest in knowledge transfer to health and education professionals and popularization of science.
