Gareth recently completed his PhD at Aberystwyth University. His thesis examines the effects of devolution on the balance of power in the UK’s territorial constitution.

He has been a Lecturer in Law at Staffordshire University since 2018. He teaches and supervises students on a variety of modules relating to public law in the UK

Gareth's research interests lie in the areas of constitutional history and constitutional theory. He is currently working on a number of research outputs exploring the effects of the Brexit process upon devolution in the UK.
