Garry Pawitandra Poluan

Senior Project Officer for Research, ACER Indonesia

Garry Poluan is Senior Project Officer at the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) Indonesia. His work encompasses all activities pertaining to research. These range from designing research and M&E approach, to writing and editing reports. Among the projects he is involved in is revitalizing holistic-integrative early childhood development in Southwest Sumba, a rural area in Indonesia. He also leads the research team in developing ACER Indonesia's research agenda.

His work in education extended beyond research. Garry had worked in edtech, consulted for Asian Development Bank (ADB) in the development of an education research repository, and assisted Indonesia's Education and Culture Attaché in Washington, DC. In 2014, he was awarded Best Lecturer by Paramadina University. He is also Senior Fellow at Paramadina Public Policy Institute, a think tank within Paramadina University.
