Gaynor Macdonald

Senior Lecturer in Anthropology, University of Sydney

Gaynor Macdonald has worked with several Wiradjuri communities over many years, as well as elsewhere in south eastern Australia. She publishes on cultural histories, political movements and the ways in which Aboriginal people have negotiated the ongoing changes wrought by their colonial subjugation. She teaches on the anthropology of the state, economic anthropology and Indigenous-related anthropology.
