Research Evidence Impact Officer, Leeds Business School, Leeds Beckett University

I recently completed my PhD at Leeds Beckett University. My thesis investigated factors that influenced the development and implementation of the UK Soft Drink Industry Levy (UK SDIL). My other research interests include advocacy, corporate communication, health policy and public health. I work closely with the Oral Health Working Group at the WFPHA, publishing work to highlight the linkages between oral and general health. In my spare time, I work as a medical writer, support companies with social media and business strategy and am an international endurance athlete. Prior to my PhD, I completed two masters in health promotion and exercise physiology in the USA.
