Genovefa Kefalidou

Post-doctoral Research Fellow in Human Factors, University of Nottingham

Genovefa Kefalidou is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Human Factors at The University of Nottingham. Coming from a highly multidisciplinary background (Computer Science, Systems Engineering, HCI and Psychology), she had the opportunity to work in multiple and diverse projects. Her research interests lie in exploring human factors in interactive and innovative complex systems. She is conducting research using self-reflection methods and sensors in Engineering, HCI and Digital Economy focusing on decision-making processes, systems' optimisation and UX. She is particularly interested in Sensemaking Big Data, in Socio-Cognitive and Contextual Computing.
