Senior Lecturer in Chinese Studies, University of Adelaide

Gerry Graduated with Hons in Chinese and Politics in 1989, spent several years living in Shanghai while studying at East China Normal University and did a PhD at Adelaide. He has worked at the University of Adelaide since 1999 teaching Chinese, Asian studies, Chinese studies and related courses. He researches social change in China, soft power, united front work, ghost and folk beliefs, and Asian influences on western societies.
