I have a PhD in Ecology and Conservation Biology from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University USA. I work on the ecological impacts of forest degradation, conversion and fragmentation on forest fauna, principally birds. I also work on the policy and politics of wildlife conservation in developing countries, with particular emphasis on protected area management, conservation-induced displacement and community-based conservation.
