Giacomo Bianchino

Giacomo Bianchino is a doctoral candidate at the City University of New York's Graduate Center. He specialises in comparative literature, with a focus on interwar poetry and its intersections with politics. He is also independently researching labour exploitation in the Australian agricultural economy. He been published in an academic context on Marxist philosophy, internet culture and political economy. He is also active as a freelance journalist, having published in Overland, New Matilda, The Saturday Paper, and appearing on Cosmonaut Magazine's podcast. Giacomo is also involved in activism, and has been running a street kitchen for the homeless in Coffs Harbour since 2020.
