I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Media Studies at Western University. I hold a BA in Economic Development and International Cooperation from the University of Florence, Italy, where my research focused on the opium trade in Afghanistan and alternative economic development reforms, and an MA in International Relations from Aarhus University in Denmark, where I focused on the human right to water.
My current research focuses on environmental communication, social movements and activism, and environmental justice. I am a member of the Center for Environment and Sustainability at Western University. I am currently working as a research assistant for a collaborative, interdisciplinary, SSHRC-funded research initiative called "Surviving Memory in Postwar El Salvador" and a Western University-funded research project on Community Perceptions on Climate Change.
