Researcher on democratization, governance, peace and conflict studies. My main areas of research interests revolve around social movements, NGOs, democracy, democratization, political parties, peace and conflict studies and elections. Lately, I have been engaged in research on urban governance, policy planning and law within African Cities.

I am a holder of a PhD in Political Sociology, Rhodes University (2017); Masters of Arts in Development Studies major in Human Rights, Development & Social Justice - Erasmus Universiteit, the Netherlands (2011); Honours History and Development studies - Midlands State University (MSU) - Zimbabwe.
