Dr Giuseppe Forino is Senior Research Associate at the School of Environmental Sciences, University of East Anglia, Norwich (UK). Giuseppe is a human geographer by background. He holds a PhD in Economic Geography (Disaster Resilience) at Sapienza, University of Rome (Italy), and a PhD in Disaster Management at the University of Newcastle (Australia). His research interests cover disaster risk management, risk governance, climate change (adaptation), risk governance, disaster project management, and disaster management into higher education. My areas of interest are Italy and Australia, and Southeast Asia (Myanmar, Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Thailand). Giuseppe is currently working on a project for disaster risk reduction in Quito (Ecuador). Giuseppe took part in international research projects funded by the European Union, the OLT Australia, and Save the Children.
