Glenn is a Research Fellow working within the Politics and Power theme at the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR). Specialising in quantitative methodologies in social science his expertise includes investigating attitudes and political behaviour of the British public. Currently he is working on research exploring the politicisation of English identity and its consequences on the future constitutional arrangements within the United Kingdom as well as with the European Union. Glenn also contributes to research surrounding political inequality, democratic reform and the on-going question of Britain’s relationship with the EU. Before joining IPPR, Glenn taught statistical analysis in politics, and European Union governance at the University of Sheffield, where he earned his PhD investigating regional variations in public attitudes towards European integration. He has also received an MA in politics and international relations, from Sheffield, and a BA in political science from the University of California, Irvine. Since September 2010, Glenn has been an honorary research fellow within the Department of Politics at the University of Sheffield.
