Gonzalo Díaz Meneses (1966) is a devoted and interdisciplinary lecturer of Marketing at Las Palmas of Gran Canaria University (Spain). He earned his PhD degree in Marketing (ULPGC), MSc in Market Research (UNED), MBA (EAE & UB), diploma in Datamining (UNED), degrees in Politics and Sociology (UCM) and History (UCM). His research has focused on marketing, having more than 100 scientific publications in the lines of social marketing, consumer behaviour and tourism. He is a member of several journal scientific boards as The International Journal on Public Policy and Non-Profit Marketing, The Journal of Non-Profit and Public Sector Marketing, The Journal of Social Marketing, the Journal of Fashion Marketing & Management. Finally, he has visited and taught in several European universities such as Lieja, Lathi, Byalistok, Bolonia, Bicocca, Siddansk, Hertfordshire, Sussex, Oxford Brookes, Leeds, Bremen and Berlín, as well as in American universities such as UCA, UAP, Temuco and Lethbridge.
