Senior Lecturer in Pharmacology, Keele University

Gordon Dent is Director of Undergraduate Medicine Admissions and Senior Lecturer in Pharmacology at Keele University School of Medicine. He gained his BSc in pharmacology (1985) and PhD in immunopharmacology (1991) from the University of London before working as a research fellow at the Großhansdorf Centre for Pneumology & Thoracic Surgery (1991-1998) and then a senior research fellow at the University of Southampton (1998-2003). He joined the new medical school at Keele in 2003 as a lecturer in pharmacology with an interest in inflammatory diseases of the respiratory and gastrointestinal systems.
