My research interests are wide-ranging and involve exploring questions in the fields of behavioural ecology and conservation. These include studying the foraging, movement ecology and cognitive behaviour of African elephants, as well as the behavioural responses of wildlife to anthropogenic noise exposure. I am also interested in the role that large herbivores play in ecosystem function, and more generally, exploring how human activities affect animals at both the individual and population level.
