Associate Professor, University of Saskatchewan

Grant Ferguson completed a B.Sc. in Earth Sciences at the University of Waterloo in 2000 and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Manitoba with a focus in hydrogeology in 2004. He is a faculty member with the Geological Engineering program at the University of Saskatchewan, an associate member of the School of the Environment and a member of the Global Institute for Water Security. His research focuses on groundwater resources and the interface between water and energy. Grant Ferguson is the past president of the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH) - Canadian National Chapter and the founding chair of the IAH Commission on Groundwater and Energy.
