Professor Kerr’s academic research interests are in the areas of harassment and abuse in youth sport; athlete-centred coaching practices; and women in coaching. In addition to her domain-specific research Professor Kerr has expertise in experiential education and student learning and development. Professor Kerr has also demonstrated excellence in teaching and a strong commitment to service in her Faculty, the University, and the wider community. Professor Kerr holds degrees from the University of Toronto (BPHE, 1982, Ph.D., 1989) and York University (M.A., 1985).
