Hanne Fjelde

Hanne Fjelde is an Associate Professor at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University. She is a Research Fellow at The Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities a Wallenberg Academy Fellow.

Fjelde’s main research focuses on the relationship between political institutions and armed conflict; the causes and consequences of electoral violence; and the impact of violence on democratic institutions.
