Harold R. Chorney

Hold a BA hons first class and M.A. in economics& politics sci from University of Manitoba 1968, Ph.D. studies in economicsat the the LSE in the UK 1970-72 and awarded a Ph.D. in political economy at the University of Toronto in 1984.Also worked as a housing economist for the Manitoba housing and Renewal corporation 1976-78 and a labour studies professor for the Manitoba innovative education program FOCUS 1972-1976 and as a consultant on urban planning questions ,economic development issues and macroeconomic policy and public finance issues 1982 to present. Also a frequent commentator on these issues in the media both in Canada and abroad.
