Harriman Samuel Saragih

Assistant Professor (Business Innovation), Monash University

Harriman is an Assistant Professor in Business Innovation, Monash University Indonesia. He currently teaches the course Innovative Marketing where previously he taught courses related to Data-Driven Marketing, Strategic Marketing Management, Arts Marketing, and Music Business Ecosystem. He is a Fulbright Visiting Scholar in the Mario Einaudi Center for International Studies, Cornell University. He holds Applied Data Science certification from Columbia Engineering & Emeritus and Data Science Practitioner from IBM.

He is an Editorial Board Member in International Journal of Innovation Science (Emerald Publishing UK). In addition, he was an Associate Consultant in Executive Learning Institute, and BVDI Prasetiya Mulya where he provides marketing workshops to Corporate Professionals and Executives. He has coached Indonesian team to earn Top 10 place in the World's Largest HSBC Business Case Competition, Hong Kong University. He is an Emerald Literati Awardee as one of the Outstanding Reviewer in the journal Arts and the Market.

He has provided various business and marketing consultancies and workshops towards Indonesian Governmental Bodies and Institutions such as the Indonesian Creative Economies Agency (BEKRAF), the Jakarta Department Office of Industry, Trade, and SMEs, Indonesian Ministry of Trade, Smart City Planning of an Indonesian Regional, as well as professional development programs. His research has been published in the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Technology, Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics, International Journal of Event and Festival Management, Journal of Asia Business Studies, Journal of Management Development, International Journal of Business Innovation and Research, International Journal of Innovation Science, Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies, and Heliyon among others. In his leisure time, he loves to code in Jupyter Notebook and he is a Kaggle Notebook Expert.
