Heather has a PhD from Melbourne Law School, an LLM from QUT, and an LLB and BA from Monash University. She was an Australian Research Council Future Fellow. Heather researches and teaches in criminal law and procedure and on legal responses to domestic and family violence. She has previously worked as a criminal lawyer.
