Dr Heidi Fuller received her first degree in Biomolecular Science at the University of Wales, Bangor, before completing an industry-sponsored PhD studentship, followed by postdoctoral research within the NHS. Heidi is currently a Senior Lecturer at Keele University, UK, where she is Dean of Education for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and a researcher within the School of Pharmacy and Bioengineering. Using state-of-the-art technologies and tools, her interdisciplinary research aims to unravel the complex physiological mechanisms of neuromuscular injury and disease, and to identify molecular targets for therapy development.
