Helen Margetts is a political scientist researching digital era governance and political behaviour. She is Professor of Society and the Internet and Director of the Oxford Internet Institute at the University of Oxford, before which she was Professor of Political Science and Director of the School of Public Policy at UCL. Her most recent book (with Peter John, Scott Hale and Taha Yasseri) Political Turbulence: How Social Media Shape Collective Action will come out with Princeton University Press later in 2015.
