Helen Moewaka Barnes

Helen Moewaka Barnes (Te Kapotai, Ngapuhi-nui-tonu) is the Director of Whāriki and Co-director of the SHORE and Whariki Research Centre, College of Health, Massey University. She has worked on research in many areas including te tai ao and hapu ora. She is Co-theme leader Te Tai Ao, Nga Pae o te Maramatanga and Director on Tangata Whenua Tangata Ora, an HRC Programme working with hapu and iwi exploring healing relationships with te tai ao.
