Dr Hutton is a nephrologist with an interest in renal immunology, including kidney transplantation and autoimmune diseases that affect the kidney (glomerulonephritis). After completing her Nephrology training in Australia, she undertook a fellowship at the University of British Columbia, Canada, where she gained expertise in clinical aspects of glomerulonephritis and kidney transplantation. She is currently completing a PhD on an autoimmune disease affecting the kidney, ANCA-associated vasculitis at the Centre for Inflammatory Diseases, Monash University.
