John G. Searle Assistant Professor, University of Michigan

Holly Jarman is the John G. Searle Assistant Professor of Health Management and Policy at the University of Michigan. As a political scientist, she studies the interaction between market regulations and health policies. Her book, The Politics of Trade and Tobacco Control (Palgrave Press), examines attempts by multinational tobacco firms to undermine tobacco control policies using the global trading system. Jarman holds doctoral and masters degrees in Political Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an undergraduate degree in British Politics and Legislative Studies from the University of Hull.
