Postdoctoral research fellow, Macquarie University

My research interest is in understanding how children learn to read and why some children have difficulties learning to read. I am also interested in reading acquisition across different languages and in bilingualism.

I am originally from Taiwan. I did my masters in Clinical Linguistics, which is a joint degree with three universities: Potsdam University, Germany; Groningen University, The Netherlands, University of Milan-Bicocca, Italy (2008). After that I moved to Australia and completed my PhD on reading development and dyslexia. I am currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Cognitive Science at Macquarie University.
