Isabelle Volpe

PhD Candidate, Drug Policy Modelling Program, UNSW Sydney

Isabelle Volpe's research focuses on treatment and policy related to alcohol and other drugs. She is currently a PhD candidate at the Drug Policy Modelling Program team at UNSW Sydney’s Social Policy Research Centre. Her PhD research uses critical social science approaches to explore the intersection of young people, drugs, policy and participation.

Isabelle is also a Research Officer at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (UNSW Sydney) and the Social Equity Research Centre (RMIT University), conducting mixed-methods research on drug alerts and drug checking. She also currently volunteers as the Communications Lead at The Loop Australia, a Key Peer Educator at DanceWize NSW, and often works with Students for Sensible Drug Policy Australia.
