Jacqueline Ackerman is associate director of research at the Women’s Philanthropy Institute (WPI). WPI believes that gender matters in philanthropy, and that solving the world’s complex problems requires perspective, leadership, and generosity from men and women.

Jacqueline supports this vision by managing all aspects of WPI’s research, which is primarily supported by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Jacqueline joined the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy in 2012 after earning a Master’s in Public Affairs from the Indiana University O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs in Bloomington.
