Jacqueline Eccles

Jacqueline Eccles is a lecturer in Mental Health Nursing at the University of Dundee. Prior to making the move to full-time nurse education she worked for a year in a Clinical Academic Fellow post, dividing her time between a Specialist Nurse post in NHS Tayside Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and the School of Nursing and Health Sciences. Jacqueline began her career as a Mental Health Nurse working in acute elderly admissions and mental health rehabilitation for NHS Fife.
Jacqueline came to nursing later in life and is a proud alumna of the University of Dundee. Before becoming a Mental Health Nurse she worked higher education. Jacqueline has an MPhil in medieval French literary patronage and a BA Hons in French and Hispanic Studies from the University of Liverpool.
Jacqueline’s particular interests are in equality and diversity, child and adolescent mental health and the use of technology to enhance nurse education.
