I teach contemporary German-language cultural studies. My research focuses on contemporary representations of social and political issues in literature and film.

A former Teaching Fellow at the University of Waterloo and Open Education Fellow at eCampusOntario, I conduct research and workshops on open and online education. I have won awards for my development of learner-centred online courses in cultural studies.
