James Schaefer

I am Professor of Biology at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, where I teach ecology, conservation biology, and communicating science.

I am the founding Director of the Trent Centre for Communicating Conservation, and a Fellow with the Leopold Leadership Program, a network of more than 200 academic scientists dedicated to conveying science to non-specialists.
