James heads a Blood Pressure Research Group working on studies ranging from understanding the basic human physiology of blood pressure to exploring new methods for improving patient diagnosis and care. He has authored more than 220 articles in the peer reviewed literature and is an investigator on cardiovascular research grants totaling over $10 million. He is passionate about translating research findings into practice.
