Jamie Shulmeister is a geomorphologist and Quaternary Scientist who specialises in the long-term climate history of the Australasian region. He is President of the Australia New Zealand Geomorphology Group. He is involved in ARC and Marsden projects with a current focus on providing landscape interpretation for archaeological projects. From 2009 to 2019 he was a Professor in the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of Queensland. In early 2020 he took up the role of Head of School of Earth and Environment at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.
