Mrs Shakespear-Druery is a PhD Candidate within the Physically Active Lifestyles Research Group within the Institute for Resilient Regions (IRR) at the University of Southern Queensland. Jane has a Bachelor Degree in Exercise and Sports Science (Honours), obtained at the University of Southern Queensland.
Jane's research focus is on muscle-strengthening exercise for chronic disease prevention and management, within the field of public health. Jane is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, undertakes casual teaching roles within exercise and sports science and has previously worked in management roles within the finance industry. She has a passion for making positive health changes within the child and adult population.
