Jasmin grew up in Germany and completed a Diploma in Psychology at Humboldt University in Berlin and Bielefeld University. She then moved to the UK, where she earned an MSc in Neuroscience followed by her PhD in Developmental Psychopathology from the Social, Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry (SGDP) Centre at King’s College London. Jasmin is now a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Duke University, funded by the AXA Research Fund.

Jasmin is a developmental psychologist. She studies how children who experience behavioural or emotional problems navigate through life. The aim of her research is to better understand how genetic and environmental influences shape these children’s experiences as they grow up. She uses longitudinal data from population-based cohort studies in her research.
