I lecture in Strategic Management and I earned my PhD examining how strategists might re-conceive their strategic thinking practices through the use of cartographic elements (strategy-as-mapping).

I research the practice/practise of strategic thinking and strategy making.

I do research that is small sample and fine grained. I look at the micro-practices of strategy practitioners and I draw out the hidden connections between these and organisational strategy.

My own research practice is immersive and focussed on being practical.
