Emeritus Professor, School of Aviation, UNSW Sydney

Jason Middleton is an Emeritus Professor in the School of Aviation at UNSW Australia. His research interests are in environmental fluid dynamics, airborne observations and aviation. He was responsible for developing the School of Aviation from 1995 to 2017, and has been flying since 1970. The School now offers Bachelor of Aviation programs in Flying and Management, the Graduate Diploma and Master of Aviation Management, and operates flying training and aerial survey under a CASA AOC from the UNSW Flying Operations Unit based at Bankstown Airport. The School of Aviation is unique in Australia, being the only independent School of its type, and the School's academic staff and research students conduct research in areas of aviation safety, aviation operational management and airborne survey.
