Postdoctoral research fellow, Deakin University

I have studied Sport and Exercise Science in Spain, continued with a Master's degree in Biology of Physical Activity in Finland, and completed a PhD in Exercise Physiology, with an emphasis on mitochondrial and muscle adaptations to endurance exercise. I am currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow studying potential targets to prevent obesity-induced metabolic dysfunction in cardiac and skeletal muscle.
